Please let me set a second foreign transaction fee / "markup" myself manually. It would be amazing if there was a small area to set it eg. on the calculator screen, or to attach the amount to a specific currency. So when calculating in one direction it uses Markup "A" but in the other direction, markup "B".
For example, my bank has 0% markup but uses Mastercard's rates. Mastercard has the following markup:
Euro to Yen: -0.37439%
Yen to Euro: +0.78233%
It does make a huge difference on larger transactions. The exchange rate can be wrong by upwards of eg. €100-1000.
I think this would be a great QoL improvement, as banks/cards always have different rates per currency depending on value and buying power. Currently I am getting a bonus when buying yen but I would get a loss when buying euro with yen.
Thanks! 🙏
