Another data point on the hanging HA problem

I just received the EMU-2 and its hooked up to my Puget Sound Energy meter. It's amazing. But the first few times I tried to add the integration, HA hung. I'm not sure if this was the fix, but I tried restarting the device by pressing the two buttons at the same time as I tried to turn on the integration and that time it worked.

That wasn't the fix. It stopped responding again. But then a couple days ago, tried something else and its been connected for 2+ days. First, remove the batteries. Second, I am using HA in Proxmox on a 2011 Mac Mini. I changed proxmox to use the USB device by port and not by vendor/device id.

I was having hang up issues with vmware with mine and it was because I needed to change the USB port to 2.0 instead of 3.1
