I run the command with a path to my wp directory as such:

wp --path='web/' composer add

After 10 seconds or so I just get the message back:

Killed

No errors. Any ideas?

@craigharman thanks for me letting me know. I'll look into this. Can you tell me what is your server setup such as:

  • WP-CLI version number
  • PHP version number
  • WordPress version number
  • Server operating system and version number

Also any other information that you think is relevant

Thanks! Details are:

WP-CLI version number: 1.5.0
PHP version number: 7.1.12
WordPress version number: 4.9.4
Server operating system and version number: Ubuntu 16.04

We use WP in a sub-folder (/web) but otherwise the install is a pretty standard set up. Hope this helps.
