Does Monstache support ES 8?
Latest version promises a big bump in performance along with other cool new features.
I'm just not exactly sure will Monstache keep working correctly with version 8.

I also noticed that you using non-official ElasticSearch Go client library (https://github.com/olivere/elastic) that deprecated already.
Any way you migrate to official ElasticSearch Go library?

It should work with ES 8 as it uses a very limited set of API calls. Have you had any problems?

Elastic 8 enables security by default so you will want to follow this unless you completely disable that.
