Incosistent detection of installed packages

Inconsistent detection of installed packages is leading to various issues like #89 (segfault cause by k already being present in the nix profile, but kup not detecting this). We should store a receipt of any installed package and only fallback on current detection if not found. this way we should be able to catch most issues of this sort.
