CSV Editor App (oriented to github?)

Edit CSVs in a simple web app

• Connect (load/save) csvs in e.g. github
• Connect (save?) to google spreadsheets

• csv.io (like geojson.io) - unfortunately is already taken
• csvedit.okfnlabs.org
• csvedit.org ...

Implementation

• Suggest we use slickgrid (perhaps with recline but may not be needed - direct slickgrid may be all that is needed)
• Could make this a browser plugin
  • cf recline-based csv viewer https://github.com/rgrp/chrome-csv-viewer
• should we extend / reuse Data Explorer - https://github.com/okfn/dataexplorer (which already can do load save from gists ...)
  • Can reuse patterns and maybe a bit of code but probably not whole app (quite different purposes)

We already have a lot of these pieces working. e.g. in browser login to github in data explorer (via gatekeeper), slickgrid grid in recline etc. Just need to put together.

FIXED. (Several months ago) http://explorer.okfnlabs.org/ now provides this - see relevant issue rufuspollock-okfn/dataexplorer#155 (plus follow-up rufuspollock-okfn/dataexplorer#169)
