Hi Robert.
Doing as you suggested. Once you extracted the artnet code to a separate repository, I can port my changes for I2S based pin control and issue a pull request.
Greetings, Artur

Hi Artur,

Thanks for following up on the artnet-to-dmx512 thread on my blog post. I was away for work last week, hence a bit slow to respond. Also the coming two weeks I'll be rather busy with work at the start of the academic year.

I will split off the artnet code to a separate repository, update the blog posts, and keep you posted here.

cheers,
Robert

Thanks to this documentation the code (and its history) now lives on in its own repository at https://github.com/robertoostenveld/esp8266_artnet_dmx512. That closes this reorganization issue.

Please start a new issue here to initiate the technical code change discussion, or send a pull request.

I have updated the original blog post https://robertoostenveld.nl/art-net-to-dmx512-with-esp8266
and added a comment to the follow-up post https://robertoostenveld.nl/timing-and-jitter-in-dmx512-signals. Both now link to the new repository.

I look forward to the continuation of this!

Hello Artur

Did you manage to make your changes and see if it works?
Could you please post a schematic and the code on how to build it?
Since an ArtNet to DMX node costs 70+ euros and I'm not eligible to pay that much for such a thing
