On Windows 10, even after having downloaded and installed the LaunchPad drivers for Windows MSP-EXP432P401R XDS110 Driver Package as per How to set up Energia on Windows, Energia fails to connect and upload to the MSP432 RED LaunchPad.

See similar examples on the 43oh forum:

MSP432 no COM Port number assigned
MSP432 Won't Compile — actually, un upload issue
Failed during downloading intoMSP432P401R red board
etc.
