Sorry for the late reply, my "NodeJS backend" is actually Firebase Cloud Functions and Firestore to request data, therefore you have to deploy your own Firebase Project Cloud Functions: Here's a quick guide
But you can get the functions file I've used, it's named: server-side-functions.js, found on the root of my project and implement on your own!

I may one day create my own separate nodejs-backend for the app. But right now I don't have enough time. 😔
