Due to lack of response I'm assuming this project is abandoned. If you'd like to use a more current version of this module which works with Puppet 4 please see my fork.

@blackknight36 I see you are maintaining a fork of this module. With considerable effort migrating params to module data.
I would like to see an updated version on the forge. At best as a voxpupuli module. Are you interested in migrating the module to voxpupuli? See following link:

@pgassmann I wouldn't mind moving this module over if people find it useful. I also have a fork of the razorsedge/snmp module which has extensive changes compared to the upstream version.

@blackknight36 I'm not part of voxpupuli. I'm also moving from Puppet to Ansible, I will only put minimal effort in maintaining my puppet environment.
