XML import not working properly

Hi There,
Nice script, handles most of the things but some data is not importing from xml, the import is updating a few posts from custom post type and a log showing other post skips with the status of already exist, while WordPress importer is processing the same file completely without an issue,

is there a further configuration? or WordPress importer can be used with your script?

issue resolved I think you need to update post_exists() function to work with post id rather than guid because if guid is same those post would be marked as exist while they are not.
