Network Activity indicator (status bar) does not work on iOS #676

The Network Activity indicator on the iOS status bar is no longer working. From at least version 5.0.38, including 5.1.1.

It works on Android.

Do not know about other platforms.

This is true for either new or legacy (cUrl) network stacks. As well, for both Network API calls and RhoConnect sync.

NOTE That Network Activity in status bar is an iOS App Store requirement.
