Weather in header?

how do I get the current weather displayed in the header?

Hi,

You have to change the state and icon in your config file.
In the example its like:
icon: '&weather.mycity.state',
state: '&weather.mycity.state',

But as you might now have anything named weather.mycity its not working.

In my Home Assistant I use weather from the integration Meteorologisk institute (met.no). Its named weather.home

Therefore in my config file its like:
icon: '&weather.home.state',
state: '&weather.home.state',

I still have one question and I don't see any weather icons Why is that?
I use AccuWeather the weather from met.no was wrong for me
even when i used met.no i didn't see any icons

That's great! :)

Basically, it's choosing an icon on what's in your icon: '&weather.home2.state'

Try to go to Developer Tools in Home Assistant, and lookup weather.home2 in the entity field, then you can see whats in state below.

What is in state, should match the icons list.

Example:

State 'clear-night', shows the 'nt-clear' icon
'clear-night': 'nt-clear'

Thanks for this answer, was struggling with this. I get the right icon and the right state now, but temperature is still 0.0 - how do I get the current temperature in the header. In my config I have this:

               temperature: '&weather.home_2.temperature',
               temperatureUnit: '°C',
            }

What should the temperature be?

Figured it out. It had to be: temperature: '&weather.home_2.attributes.temperature
