To modify text in Recogito

It would be just wonderful to be able to enter/modify text directly: the most ideal way to do this would be to incorporate a text editor even if it were simple, in this way we could click text and this would provide more space between lines (so that the labels are more spaced and do not agglutinate: that is really an issue when annotating and specially when connecting words.

Sorry, can you elaborate? I don't understand the requirement. Do you suggest that we turn this into a GoogleDocs like environment, where the text itself is editable? What do you mean by "connecting words"? (I think you may be referring to the old Recogito platform?)

Hi Rainer Yes, if the text could be edited in Recogito, that would help annotating. And yes, I am referring to the old one, the new one has not possibility to relate words, correct? I made an issue in the GitHub last week. Thanks so much best, Rocío Da Riva

Oh :-) Well, sorry. What you are asking here is firmly beyond the capacity of what we can achieve. I understand the wish. But regardless of what it looks like from the outside, it would require a complete re-engineering & probably additional person-years of development time. I'm afraid we're operating on DH- and not Google-budgets here ;-)

Dear Rainer I understand it very well, sorry, I do not see the real issues behind it, I am just a user... In any case, I would be happy just if you keep the possibility to make relations, otherwise I would have to look for another platform, and I do not like the idea, for I find Recogito very user-friendly and I got used to work with it very quickly.
