Is it ok to enable minify on R2 Lcp and Readium libraries in Android

can we enable minification on R2 Lcp and Readium libraries in the android app, in the process is there anything in R2 libraries we can add as an exception for minification in the pro-guard file. it looks like APK size in R2 increased more than double when compared to the R1.
