A list of notifications that will move the Store Pickup workflow forward. Throughout the store pickup process, there will key points of contact between the store and the customer. The goal of this communication is to ensure a easy and timely pickup.
Customer Notifications (Managed in Order Settings)
Order Placed- This notification is triggered when the Order is created. This notification confirms that the order has been received. It will include the following:
Target Pickup Time: A date a time calculated from the Order Creation Date and the Expected Pickup Time for the Location
Pick Up Deadline: A date and time calculated from the Order Creation Date and the Pickup Deadline for that Location
Order Pickup Waiting Instructions - Includes information on what a customer should do while they wait for the order to become ready, including perhaps instructions on checking the order status
Ready for Pickup Instructions - Location and fulfillment method specific instructions on how the order is to be picked up when it is ready
Order Changes and Cancellation Instructions - Information on how a customer should go about cancelling or editing their order
Ready for Pickup- This notification is triggered when the Order Pick Status changes to Ready For Pickup
