I like your add-on, Text Encryption Tool:

The extension uses your passphrase as SHA-256 private key and a random public key to encrypt or decrypt the selection.

Please have a look at Leet Key:

Transforms typed or static text to L337, ROT13, BASE64, HEX, URL, BIN, DES, AES, Morse code, DVORAK keyboard layout and to lower/to upper case functionality, Leet Font.\r\n\r\nRead the user manual at http://leetkey.mozdev.org/user-manual.html if you are not sure how to use this extension yet.

Some of these algorithms are most likely outdated, but it would be nice if you added some some of them.
