Hi,

i don't know what is the version you used but it's obviously not the latest ioq3 code.
i did try to apply your mods to the latest ioq3 svn code & it seems to work fine
(single player is ok, didn't test the rest of the game/menu)

in case you are interested :

Does this work with openarena? Sound? Any difference in framerate?

  • openarena is working (single player at least, i didn't test anything else)
  • Sound is working (for the 3 minutes i played)
  • framerate is low, but not different from the original code

ioquake3 moved from Icculus.org (SVN) to GitHub.
i forked their reposotory and added back in support for raspberrypi : https://github.com/twolife/ioq3

Cool, I might borrow from that. How does your build compare with old tree? Any change in memory use? Does it support any new features? Any change in framerate from timeddemo? Sound okay?

@twolife How are you able to make this work with open arena?

I forked ioquake3's latest git and added the makefile from https://github.com/OrN git.
https://github.com/CrescendoFang/ioq3
But I haven't tried it yet since I dunno the step to compile this.

There's no build.sh like in current RasPi Quake3 port.

Anyone able to shed a light how to compile this one?
