Can the image/description be edited? #23

I just deployed a custom collection to Ropsten. On Rarible is there a way to "claim" it so I can edit the image/description? https://ropsten.rarible.com/collection/0xbb3b82e49976a439305e116739d82aa254b8bfa5 I am auth'd into Rarible with the same wallet as the creator of the contract: https://ropsten.etherscan.io/address/0xbb3b82e49976a439305e116739d82aa254b8bfa5
When you make the lazy minting you provide in the signature the metadata for the NFT to use when it is effectively minted. Therefore I think you cannot edit it. Also what you mean by "claim" I think is onwership, and that is the creator [0] adress that you used :slight_smile: that one is the one that can put the NFT for sale/accept bids
I think there may be some misunderstanding. I want to edit the avatar that is displayed on the collection page for the collection. As well as update the custom Rarible.com URL and description of the collection on Rarible. Nothing to do with the lazy minted items.
we just checked and if you log in rarible with the wallet that created the collection (the contract onwer) you should be able to change those things

Hey, I'm not 100% sure if our system will allow us to give collection edit access on ropsten - I think it only works with Mainnet - We can give it a test, which address would you like to have edit access
on rinkeby also it works it seems
I'm referring to our internal system which allows us to give edit access (Profile image/cover/url) to external collections :slight_smile:
@Ethan VB thanks so much! It would be 0x8c2650aab5ed6c5349e477ff42ac9df1b792882b. But that's nice to hear that you can give edit access on mainnet if this were to happen then as well. That was my main concern as I was trying to make sure everything was all set for when we go to a Mainnet deploy this week If it doesn't work on Ropsten or Rinkeby, and can work on mainnet, no worries! That is what is most important

Yup! I was able to edit it on Ropsten. Thanks so much. Glad to know we'll be able to do this on Mainnet when we get to that point |
