Authentication

Users will need to authenticate to engage with the platform.
The authentication should aim for the highest level of privacy.
The idea is to leverage social login providers such as Apple to avoid managing passwords and authentication ourselves.
This hopefully also makes the accessible easier for users as they don't need to manage another password or authentication method.

Unfortunately only Apple seems to offer privacy respecting features such as hiding the name and email from the requesting application.
Though, many users are expected to be in the Google or Facebook (Meta) ecosystem.
We may be able to increase security and privacy by avoiding to save name and email that these providers offer by default.

The exact next steps and implementation for the authentication depends on this discussion.
