<h1>Rails Girls Organizer's Weekend</h1>
<h4>TERVETULOA!! Let's meet in person right after <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://2014.frozenrails.eu/">Frozen Rails</a></strong> in Helsinki!</h4>
<p>
So many <a href="http://railsgirls.com">Rails Girls</a> Chapters have popped up all over the world, and created one of the most supportive and encouraging networks of people any of us have been a part of. Many of us have only ever met via mailing lists, and skype calls. Some months ago, the idea popped up, that a meeting of all Organizers and Coaches would be pretty awesome.<br>Now, the idea became a plan:<br><emph>The weekend of 13-14th of September 2014, right after Frozen Rails, is Rails Girls Organizer Weekend in Helsinki!</emph><br>Come and join!

<strong><a target="_blank" href="http://kiskolabs.com//">Kisko</a></strong> supports us by offering discount tickets for the conference for all Rails Girls Organizers and Coaches coming to Helsinki for that Weekend. Please indicate when you <a target="_blank" href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19O3qXWkeDbkqJhfIcZJpAs0hTcnHhP8QH81I5wP9roc/viewform">register for our Weekend</a> whether you'd like to get one.

<h4>Why Helsinki?</h4>
<p>
After a little brainstorming, it became clear, that the most logical location for a first meeting would be Finland, as it is the birthplace of the initative. Plus, it can be combined with visiting one of the most important Rails conferences; Frozen Rails!<br>
So it's Helsinki, even though that means quite a trip for most of us, especially for the ones from other continents. But, who knows, maybe this can become a yearly thing, happening on different continents in the future?

<p>While the event is mainly a chance for organizers and coaches to reconnect, or get to know each other personally, it's also a chance to speak about what you see as the future of Rails Girls, and share knowledge on your events</p>
