How the federation upstream is uniquely?

I use the HTTP API for create federation upstream exchange between two rabbitmq broker A and B, the API call from both peer A and B (Call to create upstream for both local and remote) then the upstream will be duplicate (all the parameters are the same).
I want to know which is the uniquely identify the upstream define, so i can avoid the duplication of upstream.
