Plugin installation hangs

Just trying this beta on my site with about 100 users
The plugin installation just hangs after filling in the Gmail credentials and hitting the Save button.
Not sure what to do next

Are you using the latest master version? Are you on a shared host? Does the server accept outgoing connections to Gmail?

This might be related to #42 and #41. Read the details in those threads. Also, I would recommend inbound mode with Mandrill.

Yes, latest version. Yes shared hosting but pretty good resources. Yes afaik.
Read those but not sure if they apply.

Your symptoms sound similar to #36. I believe your host is blocking outgoing connections to GMail.

You can also try logging any debug messages with WP_DEBUG:
http://css-tricks.com/snippets/wordpress/turn-on-wordpress-error-reporting/

Then see if any errors specific to RBE are recorded in /wp-content/debug.log.
Also, see if anything is logged under /wp-content/bp-rbe-debug.log.

If that doesn't work, I would recommend inbound mode with Mandrill. Inbound mode is more friendly for shared hosts.

OK but now if I delete the plugin and reinstall it, I can't even get to the Settings :(

Commits f91165a and ab97ea7 should hopefully address this.

If you haven't tried RBE in some time, I would recommend Inbound Email mode instead of IMAP:
