Since there are so many different USB standards and naming conventions, I think it might be worthwhile to have a page dedicated to different USB formats, generations, types, etc. to sort all these stuff together.
The main goal is to answer basic questions like:
What speeds does each gen provide?
What features does each gen provide? (Power delivery, data transfer, video out, etc.)
What other names do each port have (Difference between Thunderbolt and other 3.1/3.2 ports), cover other names for the same port, etc.
What shapes and sizes do different USBs come in (USB A, MicroUSB, USB C, etc.)
