Sammy JS is a fantastic framework!
Used in some applications I'm developing and have achieved excellent results.
I see that the last commit is 26 Aug 2014 and I wonder if the project is still "alive"?

yes, it is. Use Vue.js instead

This project is still awesome - no reason to use Vue.js as replacement as Vue.js has a totally different approach. There is still a huge ecosystem of jquery plugins and one would be nuts not to use and Sammy still fills that gap. Jquery plugins usage in Vue, React, Angular always looks foreign and as last resort.

@iongion I absolutely agree. I attempted to deep-dive into Vue.js, but have come back to the old reliable Knockout/Sammy duo. It may not have the most GitHub stars, but it's solid.

I attempted with VueJs and RiotJs, but, its very hard to maintain a simple application and SammyJs for me is natural and realy simple(I'm a backend dev ;-) ).

Thanks.
