Equations not rendered in markdown cell #7

When I enable jupyterlab-quarto in Jupyter extension manager, each markdown cell with math equations suddenly stop rendering them.

When disabled, equations are showing up back again.

jupyterlab-quarto 0.3.3
jupyterlab 4.0.2

I'm just checking the functionality and with jupyterlab==4.2.2 and jupyterlab-quarto=0.3.3 it seems to be working as expected:
