This app grabs songs from the spotify web player. The problem is that a couple of months ago spotify changed their login page and now it requires a captcha to login succesfully. So it aint OS dependent. Someone needs to find a way around the recaptcha problem. It will e kinda a pain in the ass cause the app is built for console.

This is an upstream issue, by the way, so whatever solution is required will probably be worked out there or in some fork.

I don't know why everyone's still saying "same here." This tool hasn't worked for a while, unfortunately, and I don't know if anyone is working to fix it. You can either buy music legally or download it from somewhere else.

Now spotify has a bug that I discovered in tools for chrome developers in the Networks section, a multimedia audio file appears in DRM and can be downloaded but not played, try to convert it with ffmpeg but only could unlock 25 seconds

There will be some solution, somebody who wants to create or modify some tool to download music from spotify
