How issues and discussions are handled in this project

Update

As per this discussion, the below limitations will be lifted starting on the next release of this library.

Summary

• Collaboration is pull request-based only.
• People wanting to open discussions need to be supporters.

Reasons

• Despite I still using MEGAJS, its uses for me reduced a lot in the last years.
• People posted repeated issues without searching in closed issues nor reading the documentation.

Alternatives to sponsoring

• StackOverflow
• Artificial intelligence bots
• Reddit / Mastodon / other social networks...
  ... but do not bug me about issues or requests on social networks, you will be blocked immediately.
• Fix the issue yourself (and send a pull request)

Additional notes

• Do not open issues or discussions without being a supporter, they will be closed and locked immediately.
• If you prefer other sponsoring platform, ping me on Mastodon.
• If MEGA dislikes those rules, contact me.
• If the above reasons become less annoying, like, if people stop posting repeated issues, read the documentation or just sponsor, those rules will be lifted.
• Not all pull requests will be accepted.
• From my testing most AIs are pretty bad at generating code for this library (probably because they were trained on old data before MEGAJS v2 was released, as this version introduced a lot of changes into the library, mainly, promises). Often you can point out their mistakes and get good results.
