loading themed shapefiles via Directory does not apply the theme

What is the bug or the crash?

In a folder I have enne linear shapefiles with related qml file, loading the files using the Directory does not apply the style.

If uploaded individually the theme is applied:

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. start QGIS;
2. Load shapefiles using Directory
3. shapefiles will not have the qml theme
