version number for latest

The latest tagged version was posted yesterday , the previous version to that was posted as pr-1742 22 days ago. When the 'latest' version is posted can you also post it with a tag of what the version number is. While I may want to upgrade from pr-1742 I might not want to go with whatever the real latest build is, but to have a specific tagged version that I might want to keep around a while.
