What are you missing?

Over the time annotations like FIXME and TODO accumulated.

We should go over them and either address them or remove the comments, to not let the code quality suffer.

Why do you need a solution?

Code quality suffers from these accumulated developer notes. Either things are addressed (then they probably are worth an issue) or not.
