The PyCon Africa 2019 conference, which will take place in Accra, is the first pan-African gathering of the Python community on using and developing the Python programming language.

It is produced and run by a multi-national team of volunteers and chaired by a director of the Python Software Foundation. Through Pycon Africa we intend to highlight early adopters of the programming language across the continent, strengthen and advance regional Python communities, and facilitate an enjoyable experience for all in attendance.
