Version 3.6.7 was not planned, but due to some severe bugs causing Home Assistant (modbus integration) to malfunction plans was changed.

This release included a small number of PRs from dev, that do not cause API changes, and 1 commit that solve a number of async client problems.

Version 3.6.7 will be back ported to dev over the coming days.
