It's again a culprit for issues with Python 3.13 (see #98 ).

Maybe we should remove it altogether, or make it optional?

From Python 3.13 onwards, it is optional, maybe even for all python versions?

In this case, we should improve the functionality of our own code.
Also, a rework might improve the inclusion of binary payload into the method handling.
