We should build on the existing bare-bones E2E test framework.

Some suggestions:

  • Enable creating kind clusters as part of test setup
  • Expanded test coverage

@blampe this ticket seems vague, and we did some e2e test work after it was filed. Would you rework it or close it?

@rquitales did you have a WIP branch with some of your ideas here? If not I think we should just table this for now.
