Issue with menu disappearing #35

Subject of the issue

The left menu disappears.

Your environment

I have replicated this in IE and Chrome.

Steps to reproduce

When reducing the size of the browser to test for responsiveness, clicking on the menu twice, maximize the screen and the left menu has disappeared.

Expected behaviour

The left menu should not disappear

Actual behaviour

The left menu disappears
