Make please Content_Display optionally images thumbnail or medium size not large

The main problem with the Content_Display block is that it displays "large" (original) images, but reduces them to the width of the column. And as a result, I get pictures on the site in different proportions.

But "large" (original) large_size images in WP are usually not cropped to the sizes specified in the admin "Media settings" - /wp-admin/options-media.php.

By default, only "thumbnail_size" are cropped to the sizes specified in the admin panel.

I have the code set to crop "medium_size" as well.

And it is necessary that at least for small pictures Content_Display: Newspaper_View should be exactly "thumbnail_size".

And it would be better if there was a choice of sizes. You can make general selection sizes in "thumbnail|medium|large" for each column by block type in "Newspaper View Settings".

I understand that for Slider_View and other images with "width: 100%;" Frontpage_View needs "large_size".
