Our work lives in the intersectionality of many current issues in civic tech. As a pioneer of how governments create and implement open and accessible software and policy, Public code, we need to be findable. The Search Engine Optimization strategy for Public Code starts with three key words or phrases we want to intentionally build our Public Code copy and content around. These phrases have to be culturally relevant to us and those we primarily serve. Ben and I started this conversation last week and we have words/phrases listed below as starters. Please kindly add yours. We are looking for 12 so we can drill down to 3. Note: Open Source and Public Code will always be in our language.

Using a couple of search engines, I see that most of the first page of hits on "codebase stewardship" connect directly or indirectly to publiccode.net .... one excption: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Code_Stewardship
