Funding for OpenSustain.tech

So far, we have not tried to find funding for the project through donations / crowdfunding. For the next year we should try to get some funding. This will allow us to kick off additional projects like ClimateTriage.com, pay external costs if needed and finance the travel cost to allow contributors to speak at conferences. Possible options are:

1. LFX Crowdfunding as suggested by @dbrownlf
2. Open Source Collective as suggested by @RichardLitt
3. GitHub Sponsors.

@Ly0n There was some other sponsoring project as well. Unfortunatelly I cannot remember anymore where I've seen it. Probably the pydantic people thought about using it/are using it.

@Ly0n polar.sh supports the following monetarization approaches:

• Donations
• Monthly Subscriptions
• Annual Subscriptions
• Upvoting and funding of GitHub issues. E.g. strawberry-graphql GitHub issues -> polar.sh strawberry-graphql Dashboard.

One can motivate people to subscribe by giving access to private repositories, giving access to discord, ... (more here) as well.
