Thanks for the suggestion! I will think about it, but I'm still hesitating a bit. Mostly because I think a default config would be empty. Do you know whether tmux does have an option to generate a default config?
sorry, i have not find the default config file after installed tmux in my system.
but i can use C-b as prefix key, so it is the default prefix key : tmux - KEY BINDINGS
if not the default prefix key after the installed, this can not be "out of the box",
the user may be confused ... (just like me 😅)
It's just my personal opinion, thinks for discussing both.
i recommend create default config file in user's home directory after installed pymux success.
