So when a user scrolls to the top of a page from a specific point, the extension should automatically create a bookmark at the last position. This functionality would significantly enhance user experience by eliminating the need to manually locate previously viewed content.
Ideally it would be better if instead of just one bookmark. users can create as many bookmarks as they want, create multiple bookmarks at various scroll positions within a single webpage, providing greater navigation control. This feature in particularly be beneficial for users who consume large amounts text content, such as reading a lengthy article on online journals or on Reddit threads, where specific comments or sections may require revisiting after completing an initial read-through. also adding persistency to user created bookmarks for future-use would be very beneficial who procrastinate a lot.
The ability to bookmark specific points of interest on the scrollbar & go back to them instantly w/o the need to hunt & peck for them, would definitely be a big up on quality of life.
