try these.... monitor = DP-2, 3840x2160@60, 0x0, 2 or to align the monitors monitor = DP-2, 3840x2160@60, 0x0, 2 then Enable Mouse Cross-Monitor Support monitor_layout = gapless then hyprctl reload do let us know if these helped. |

Where would the monitor_layout be placed within? Is that in the hyprland.conf file or elsewhere. So far it locks me to one window. If I super key and press 1 or 2 I can move between the screens but not mouse over to the other. |

it is better to place all user preferences in the userprefs.conf as this automatically overrides all the other configs. If somethings goes seriously wrong, one has a better chance to recover from the terminal by just correcting this file or emptying it. this way one is left with the machine in a default state. |

When I place the monitor_layout variable into the userpref.conf file it gives an error of "config option <monitor_layout> does not exist". Is there a place I am supposed to predefine it? |

Hello everyone,
I have a 4k monitor and a 2k monitor that I use. I set the scaling to auto for each but when I do that I can no longer move to the other window with the mouse. Is there a fix for this or is there something that I am doing wrong? Here is what my monitor settings looks like in the hyprland.conf file.
monitor = DP-2, 3840x2160@60, 0x0, auto
monitor = DP-1, 2560x1440@144, 3840x0, auto
