Rfid module not found #761

I have downloaded (burned) latest 1.8 version of bruce in m5 stickC plus 2. And trying to connect the rfid module (PN532 on I2C) as shown in different tutorials but when i run the program (rfid - read tag) of bruce the screen freezez for 15 seconds and then it displays error message "rfid module not found".

And this problem is not only with read module, but same happens when i select other options from rfid.

It happens to me with RC522, too. I have no idea what could be the issue

I think this issue is with newer versions.
