Drop-down terminal option

A drop-down option such as guake, yakuake, or xfce4-terminal is essential.

When working with floating windows, this is the best way to interact with the console.
You hit a key (generally F12), and it pops, you don't need it anymore? It disappears until you hit the shortcut again.
