Given our focus of building a platform for developers vs. a network/marketplace long-term, I think we can sever the connection between users<>customers causing some complexities and issues today. E.g sandbox/production doing test purchases with email addresses and going to the customer portal – expecting a login or to see those orders, but it defaulting to the user session (zero orders).

It would also allow us to get rid of the hybrid state: A seller expected to be a customer and that whole signup/upgrade path. Reducing complexity and offering a more focused experience.
