Could it make sense to write the file names for the diffTool in the opposite order (now: 'difftool [expected] [failed]', imho better: 'difftool [failed] [expected]' - see here) because then you can take the command, replace 'difftool' with 'cp' and update the reference images that way.
Or is there a specific reason why the current order was chosen?
Is there maybe a better workflow for graphically comparing reference images and selectively 'accepting' them by copying the new image over to the expected image?
