As part of the #9 Restructuring the Rewards Program, I want to put some design thought into how we can track/easily record work folks are doing Contributing Code, Support time, web design time, docs review and writing time, etc.

Thinking also about a 'Reward Badge' system (think PokemonGo) that allows people to earn badges depending on how long they've been around, how much they've contributed, etc. Some Examples:

  • Sustaining Member (someone who maintains a subscription)
  • 1 Year, 2 Year, Friends
  • Charter Member of Friends of Pods
  • Coder!
  • Bug Squasher
  • Gardener: these are folks we've vetted as developers for a future TheFarm website where we can showcase people's work, give them a place for a Vetted Pods Development (think codeable)
  • Docs Guru
  • Support Guru
  • Web Guru
  • Plugin Partner
  • Plugin Writer for Pods
