SCM Notifier hangs when "SIlent" update all is active

When I set "Silent" Update All (under Tools -> Settings... -> Update tab) then it works correctly for changes in SVN repositories. But when change in Git repository occurs, program hangs on it. Repository icon becomes gray and SCM Notifier window doesn't give any response. The only option is to kill process from Task Manager.

I think this possibly is caused because it waits for response from the window normaly appears when update command on Git repository is issued.

I am not able to reproduce the problem. Would you describe the problematic case in more detailed?
