Function to customize fields of Anki card

Goodday,

Not sure this function has been implemented or not.

Just want to know is it possible to customize the contents to different field or not.

For example, to me, putting the word I want to learn in the first field makes sense (In this case it is "retention" and no further format, words...etc since I also want to make use of the duplicate detecting function, if one card has "retention" in its first filed, and another card has <b>retention</b>, Anki treats them different cards)

The function from Yomichan (an app for Japanese learning) does it very well.

The second questions is that is it possible to get the audio from the dictionary website also?

Anyway, this is still a good extension for learning languages!

probably it would be a lot lot better to integrate this app with Anki Connect Plugin and use some ideas from the Yomichan's implementation of that feature (since their code is gpl and since it works pretty good as OP's mentioned)
but there is another thing: whenever I try to add a word to my Anki app opens a dict window for some reason, and since I'm on Linux with a tilling window manager -- it kills me :) so maybe adding a function to disable it completely (separate dict window) while leaving the "pop-up on selection window" is a fine thing to do

@revir any updates on this? Current method does not work on me very well. Formatting is messed up every time on my end.

and when I try to edit this page getting corrupted.
