1.21.8 : name field with number

when adding fields , they appear with number rather than letters (at the end of the field) :

perhaps the field is too long, or something like that ?

nevertheless : is a way planned normal?

it seems to work anyway, but it's too be sure

To me, it seems normal.
It only happens to dropdowns fields though with already populated modalities.
I've got a large amount of additionnal fields that works this way.

What is strange though, is that through an update of the plugin, the final numbers are "allowed?" to change, and i always have to rewrite my conf file to adapt my scripts to this behavior.
